It’s about that time again, folks! Spring and summer are coming and artists are bringing out their new music with it. Linkin Park is back in effect with a brand new song called “Burn It Down.” It’s the first single from their highly anticipated new album Living Things, scheduled to drop June 26!
But now, we’ll focus on the song itself. Listening to it the first few times, it’s almost reminiscent of their song “Blackout” from the 2010 album, A Thousand Suns. The synthesizers come in similarly, but this one is much more structured. Lead singer Chester Bennington brings in his strong-as-ever and emcee Mike Shinoda’s rapping is as rhythmic as its ever been.
Linkin Park fans are getting a lot at once; not only are they out with a new single AND album release date, but they’ve already got a tour lined up!
