Go to war with the “Red Tails”
Films about war are rarely ever pleasant, but "Red Tails" has a little something extra. It's touching yet funny, inspiring and educational. How accurate it tells the story of this part of the Tuskegee Airmen's legacy isn't clear.
Adele shines at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards
While the 54th Annual Grammy Awards were seeped in memories of the late, great Whitney Houston, the show celebrated what it's most known for and one of the most powerful forces on Earth; music. The performances were energetic and smooth and the presenters and attendees looked stunning. Adele ruled the night with six awards from every category she was nominated in, including Album of the Year. Well deserved, as were all the winners.
Loss of another icon; Whitney Houston found dead
The world has lost another icon. On Saturday afternoon, world-renown R&B songstress Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel in Los Angeles. She was preparing to perform at a tribute concert to her mentor, Clive Davis. The cause of her death is unknown at this point, but once an autopsy is complete more details will emerge. She was known for her incredible voice in songs like "I Will Always Love You" and "I'm Every Woman," and also her amazing acting. She starred alongside Denzel Washington in "The Preacher's Wife" and Angela Basset in "Waiting To Exhale." Houston will be missed and condolences go out to her friends and family.
M.I.A. the center of Superbowl controversy this time around
During the Superbowl XLVI Halftime Show, singer M.I.A. joined Madonna on stage to help her perform her new song "Give Me All Your Lovin'." Turns out M.I.A. wanted to give us something else; her middle finger. We all know how the network stations feel about vulgarity and this is stirring up old wounds for them (wardrobe malfunction ring a bell?). NBC has apologized to viewers for the incident but M.I.A. still remains at the center of this controversy.
“It All Belongs To” Brandy and Monica in new duet
Brandy and Monica are back! Back in 1998 the duo released their hit record "The Boy Is Mine." 14 years later they've come out with a brand new follow-up song called "It All Belongs To Be," rumored to be on Monica's new album 'New Life' (due April 10th). Their voices are just as smooth as ever and they blend even better this time around because it's more of a coming together than a back and forth exchange. A video is supposedly going to be shot on February 13th and I'm not sure about the rest of you R&B fans but I'm looking forward to it!
Where in the world has Jesse McCartney gone?
Jesse McCartney has been off the scene for a while. We were supposed to get a new album almost a year ago, but we haven't heard anything new on that. He was in the running for a Fox show but they decided not to pick it up. These days, he's slated to appear on CSI and he claims 2012 is the magic year for "Have It All" to finally be released. We'll see if he keeps his word to his loyal fans this time.

Timberlake and Kunis make excellent “Friends With Benefits”
"Friends With Benefits" stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, a duo that makes this movie what it is. A timeless tales of a girls' search for her Knight In Shining Armor, who was there all along; all she needed to do was recognize him. The great part about this movie is while it has a message, the comedy rarely stops. You laugh and learn at the same time. Don't worry about spending money on this one; it's worth it.
